RIO SYSTEMS is a fabless semiconductor company providing power efficient software defined radios for multiple systems environment that reduces the integration cost and improves the power efficiency for personal communication, back-haul communication and base stations. RIO proposes an innovative radio platform, which facilitates the convergence of multiple communication standards from 2G to 4G wireless systems. Currently, there is no single solution offering power efficient and flexible wireless broadband connectivity. RIO SYSTEMS has developed an energy efficient SDR transceiver and power amplifier sub-systems which are poised to close the gap between power efficiency and system flexibility by offering leading-edge transceiver radio solutions designed to address distinct markets in the area of mobile devices.
